Self-Hypnosis and Manifestation


Hypnosis is basically a technique for inducing deep relaxation with the aid of a coach, the hypnotist. However you can also hypnotize yourself. All that you really need is to learn to deep relaxation, and then learn to make suggestions to yourself while in that relaxed state. Another use for self-hypnosis is information gathering. When you are unsure of what direction you most need to take next in your own life, you can put yourself into a deeply relaxed state and simply ask as if you were directly asking the Universe. Then wait for an answer. You may receive an image, a word, an impression, or a direct verbal answer. Take the first thing that comes into your mind after asking and hold onto that until it becomes clear what the meaning is. It will become clear, though it may take anywhere from a moment to several days to unfold. Two of the best techniques for deep relaxation are 1) deep breathing, and 2) progressive relaxation. Breathe deeply by pushing your belly all the way out on the in breath, then suck your belly all the way in on the out breath. Progressively relax your muscles by tensing and releasing each muscle group starting at your feet and working all the way up to the top of your head. It takes a bit of practice, but once you learn to deeply relax, you will find that your ability to manifest what you truly desire improves dramatically. Plus, you will feel terrific!
