Manifestation Mastery
The Law of Attraction & Conscious Creation
Manifestation and the Heart Chakra

Most eastern philosophy, religion, and medicine includes an energy system that explains how the life force flows through the human body, and how it flows into the body and out of the body into the world. The Hindu energy system is made up of seven energy centers called ‘chakras’, each located along the spine from the base to the crown of the head. The chakra located in the region of the human heart contains what is frequently called ‘the wish fulfilling tree’ or ‘kalpa taru’; and gives the person who taps into its energy the ability to ‘follow their heart’ or manifest any desire. Many people wrongly believe that the Laws of Attraction are very new, and very New Age constructs, but the Hindu system was in existence for at least 5,000 years before the birth of Christ, possibly longer. Some of the oldest Hindu texts, called the Vedas, are so old no one is actually certain exactly how old they really are. The reason the wish-fulfilling tree is located in the heart, in the same energy center that governs love, compassion, and forgiveness, is that when are desires are truly in alignment with the highest good, we grow in all these areas. Wishing and having wishes granted puts us directly in touch with the Divine, and this back and forth creates more love and joy in our lives and the lives of those around us. What is especially inspirational is that we are not the first to discover this: It is literally so old we aren’t even sure when it first came to be known.

Author: pgrundy
Did you know that negative thoughts and feelings actually increase the body’s production of a powerful hormone called ‘cortisol’? This hormone creates the ‘fight or flight’ response the body needs to survive a period of danger or physical stress; but when the body produces too much of it, and keeps producing it even when nothing is really physically wrong, we actually become ill. In other words, our negative thoughts can create illness in our bodies. This is not imaginary sort of illness either, but rather real increased risk of heart attack, depression, cancer, diabetes, stroke, and more. Negative thinking can even lower our immune response, making us more vulnerable to flu, colds, and other infectious illnesses. While it may seem far-fetched at first, when you realize how thoughts can literally create illness, you can begin to understand how thoughts can help to heal illness too. If you have an active and serious illness, you should work with a trained physician to obtain the best treatment whatever that may be. But more and more physicians and hospitals are now learning that the healing process can be supported and strengthened by visualization and meditative practices that create serenity and positive thinking. For a basic description of how and why this works, you can visit About.com’s holistic healing page. Additionally, in future posts I will list some good basic books and tapes to get you started.
